Submitted an amicus brief to the California Supreme Court in this matter on behalf of several insurers, portions of which were written into the opinion as presented to the Supreme Court.

Mr. Cohon helped define the rights of litigants to collect attorneys fees in commercial actions.
The Cadle Company, Inc. v. World Wide Hospitality Furniture, Inc.
Mr. Cohon stepped into a commercial dispute tried by prior counsel and reversed an adverse judgment against the client. After a subsequent retrial, Mr. Cohon obtained a defense verdict.
