Ramos on Friday compared two looming deadlines for the decrease of state prisoners to a pair of trains on a collision course. It’s an issue officials say will affect many, if not all sectors of the county, in the coming years. “We have to do something about it,” Ramos said. About 150 people — including members of city government, business owners and federal prison officials — attended the discussion on prisoner release and realignment on Friday at a breakfast event hosted by the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce at the Hilton.
