San Fran Confidential: Cases Dropped Due to Alleged Police Corruption

The Wall Stree Journal Law Blog What is going on in the Bay Area? Prosecutors there have been forced to dismiss over 800 (800!) criminal cases there in the past year because of allegations of police corruption, including selling drug evidence, conducting unlawful searches and conspiring to get men drunk and then arrest them on drunk-driving charges, WSJ reports.
