A bill requiring the San Francisco Police Department officials assigned to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force to adhere to state and local privacy laws, which provide much stronger protections against racial profiling and suspicion-less spying than FBI and JTTF policies, was unanimously approved by a committee of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
