ATF Issues Open Letter to Firearms Retailers

ATF has issued an open letter to firearms retailers regarding A&D record-keeping of imported firearms (“date of importation”).  In the letter, ATF states that, “Due to questions recently raised by licensed importers, ATF believes it is necessary to precisely explain ‘date of importation’ as it is used in the GCA.
