Our History

Michel & Associates, P.C. was founded by C.D. “Chuck” Michel in 1994 after he left large-firm practice in downtown Los Angeles to establish an independent litigation practice.

Over the following decades, the firm expanded its capabilities in civil litigation, constitutional law, firearms law, public-entity representation, environmental and land-use matters, employment law, business disputes, criminal defense, and regulatory proceedings.

Today, Michel & Associates represents a broad range of clients in matters that frequently involve complex legal questions, significant factual records, government regulation, and substantial financial or institutional interests.
