California’s ammunition background check laws — passed by Gavin Newsom’s Proposition 63 — just suffered another defeat in the Rhode v. Bonta case. But the fight is far from over. As expected, the State has filed for an en banc review at the Ninth Circuit, attempting to overturn the recent three-judge panel winning ruling that struck down the law in favor of Second Amendment rights.
