Los Angeles County wins 16-square-mile gang injunction The Associated Press PUBLISHED FRIDAY, JUL. 22, 2011 LA PUENTE, Calif. — Los Angeles County prosecutors say they’ve made a 16-square-mile area of the San Gabriel Valley off-limits to gangs. The district attorney’s office says it obtained a permanent court injunction Friday for a zone that includes the cities of Industry, La Puente, parts of West Covina and several unincorporated neighborhoods.
