Anna M. Barvir

Anna M. Barvir is a seasoned civil litigator and appellate attorney whose practice centers on constitutional law and civil rights. Licensed to practice in California and numerous federal courts, she represents individuals, nonprofits, and businesses in high-stakes civil rights and constitutional matters. Ms. Barvir’s practice spans the First, Second, and Fourteenth Amendments, with a particular emphasis on challenging government overreach and protecting individual rights in matters involving firearms, free speech, unlawful searches and seizures, and LGBTQ+ equality.
Ms. Barvir earned her J.D., magna cum laude, and a Certificate in Legal Writing from Whittier Law School. During law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Whittier Law Review and as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, receiving multiple awards for academic excellence and service to the law school community. She also holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in History and Political Science from Notre Dame of Maryland University.
Ms. Barvir is deeply involved in her community. She is the Founding President of Orange County LGBT Pride, has served on the Board of Directors for Orange County Equality Coalition, and volunteers with the Southern California Association of Odyssey of the Mind. A Gold Award recipient and lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, she is also an active Girl Scout leader and Service Unit volunteer for Girl Scouts of Orange County. Request a consultation here.
